Tom Baltz is a legendary Pennsylvania guide and fly tyer, and he spends his summers on the Missouri River in Montana. The Mo River Killer is a Pale Morning Dun (PMD) mayfly nymph using an orange Ice Dub hot spot like a Lance Egan Frenchie but also uses red wire and flashback to get some extra attention. Baltz spends a lot of time on the Missouri River experimenting with new patterns so if he says this is the Mo River Killer we have no reason to doubt him.
