Gary Merriman invented the Tarpon Toad by creating a larger profile version of famous Florida guide Harry Spear's Tasty Toad. Merriman add the marabou collar and rabbit strip tail to the famous Tarpon Toad fly we know today. This is possibly the most famous tarpon fly every created. This version coming in a cool two tone color on the merkin head.
