Kelly Galloup's Zoo Cougar

The Zoo Cougar is a legendary Kelly Galloup pattern known for putting him on the map and is still one of his favorite patterns for big fish. Kelly designed the Zoo Cougar to imitate an injured sculpin as it's pulled across the current. Tied with light materials and meant to be fished just below the surface of the water, the light nature of this streamer is affected by every current that it touches, fluttering as it swims. Fish it with a jerk strip retrieve in any river where big trout lurk.
