This is a rabbit strip style tarpon fly tied "Key's Style". Key's style tarpon flies generally are tied with all the materials towards the back of the hook to prevent the materials from fowling and alloing the front of the fly to keel and profile the pattern. This style was fly was originated by legendary fly tyer and Keys guide Stu Apte.
