The Last Chance Cripple Callibaetis mayfly pattern is designed by Rene Harrop for the flatwater and wary trout fishing on the Henry's Fork in Idaho. This fly lands very soft due to the thin body and CDC wing. The fly represents a Callibaetis mayfly that is crippled in the water or emerging. Often times on tailwater where there is a lot of bug life trout will ignore duns and target cripples because they are much easier to eat.
