Lefty Kreh's Deceiver - Cream/White - 2

Lefty Kreh's Deceiver pattern is his most famous fly pattern. While there is quite a bit of legitimate debate about whether the Deceiver was actually designed by Norman Duncan, the fly became attached to Lefty's name and it has become a worldwide staple in saltwater fly fishing. This pattern represents many types of baitfish and can be used to catch nearly any type of gamefish. We love the original Deceiver because of it's diversity to fish in many situations but also because of its durability. This fly is made with bucktail that is epoxied in to the front of the head. Another big advantage to the Deceiver is because it used bucktail as opposed to rabbit strips or craft fur it doesn't fowl on the bend of the hook.
