Fred Telleen's Original Mini Montana Intruder

This is a smaller version of the Telleen's Flash Bang Intruder he originally designed for Alaskan salmon. The gold, silver and coppery/brown root beer combo is particularly effective on Brown Trout. It’s flashy, has good swimming action, and is easy to cast on a little two-handed rod. I like to swing flies. This pattern has become a staple pattern for swinging across the county. 

Fred Telleen is the original designer and tyer of the Montana Mini Intruder.  This was one of the original Fly Project streamer designs, and Fred is a founding member of The Fly Project.  The original pattern designed by Fred can only be purchased through authorized Fly Project dealers such as House of Fly.
