Doug Ouellette's Peaches & Cream

Although it doesn't really resemble a PMD nymph too closely, the Peaches and Cream Jig works well during early PMD hatches when there are a few bugs on the water. Believed to resemble an early stage Pale Morning Dun emerging from the river bottom, the peachy colorway acts as an attractant, while the barred mallard feather tail sells it as a natural. The body is loosely dubbed to allow for air bubbles to collect around the body as you fish the fly through turbulent waters. This unique PMD fly imitation is worthy of a spot in your fly box.
