Phil Rowley's Clearwater Pupa

Although olive is a common chironomid pupa color on many stillwater fisheries, its black cousin, the Clear Water Pupa performs on trout who seem to be refusing beadheads. This pattern is unweighted and an excellent choice when trout are feeding just below the surface on emerging pupa.
