We developed the Project One Spey Rods sitting around camp fires on the rivers of Lewiston, Idaho. We've cast hundreds of amazing double hand rods and when we decided to build one we knew it had to be fast to keep up with modern skandi and other spey lines and heads but also something a hobo steelhead fisherman or woman could afford to buy.
The Project One is a 4 piece fast action carbon rod. We designed our own thin spey handle for better feel of the line when loading the rod. The reel seat is one piece machined aluminum to eliminate any failures and so the rod can be fished in any condition. The 4-5 weight are designated as “Micro Spey” or “Trout Spey” but we have used the 5wt successfully for skated flies for steelhead as well.

Comes with a Cordura rod tube with dividers.
