  • Designed by legendary tier Bob Quigley to mimic an emerging Pale Morning Dun.
  • Features a unique profile that rides low in the surface film to imitate a stuck cripple.
  • Tied with premium materials to ensure an accurate silhouette and color match for selective trout.
  • Constructed to handle current and flat water on technical tailwaters and spring creeks.
This pattern is deadly on the most selective of situations on spring creeks, tail waters, lakes and placid pools. It’s no secret among long time hatch fisherman that we have developed a more educated trout in water that is receiving ever more angling pressure--tie on a Film Critic and see how educated they really are. The pattern has an emerging shedding shuck look to the tail that adds even more realism for selective trout.

Aside from greater visibility and flotation the stacked hackle and forward wing suggests a mayfly escapement ready for flight but is hung in the film hence the name.
