  2. Imitates a variety of mayflies, midges and aquatic larvae
  3. Tungsten bead to plummet to the feeding zone
Perdigon? What does that even mean? The Spanish Perdigon was named after the word ‘Perdigones’ which means ‘shotgun pellets’. This fly features a tungsten bead, a few turns of lead behind it, bright hot spots and finished with a coat of nail polish varnish. The idea behind the fly is to plummet directly to the feeding zone as fast as possible with zero friction in the water. Popular among nymph anglers, this pattern is quickly gaining popularity around the world.
