Bob Churchill's RS2 Sparkle Wing

The RS2 fly, also known as ‘Rays Semblance 2’ was developed in the 70’s by renowned angler Rim Chung. This tail water pattern imitates an emerger, but can be fished as a nymph and fool trout when presented well in the feeding zone. This pattern seems to perform best during a blue winged olive hatch, but can imitate many variants throughout the year. Fish it as a dry fly, and emerger or a nymph for midges or tiny mayfly species.
